The Literacy Architects provided a relevant and content-rich exposure to the science of reading concepts in digestible weekly parts where instructors can build applicable practices for prompt implementation.

There are so many valuable things that I will use. My class will be much more hands-on with students practicing the instructional techniques instead of me always doing the modeling.

I have learned so much over these past six weeks. I will be teaching the first Science of Reading course at our college and I have been very nervous about it. This course was the perfect launch that I needed!

This was a great cohort of colleagues to support learning about embedding literacy instruction within curriculum for preservice teachers. The facilitators were very knowledgeable and happy to share the space to teach and learn.

It helped me to wrap my head around strategies.

This module helped give me ideas on how to share instruction about the reading process and the brain as well as models of structured literacy with undergraduate students in a concise manner.

It helped me to wrap my head around strategies to help undergraduate students understand the big picture. I was reminded of visuals that can help guide and supplement my instruction in undergraduate reading methods courses.
