With this course, you'll be able to download The Literacy Architects Decoding Survey (LADS), along with our decoding diagnostic data tracker, phonics scope and sequence, and decoding assessment decision tree.

Use the LADS to find out what sound-symbols and phonics patterns your students have mastered. Keep track of this information on our data tracker, and use our phonics scope and sequence to help you decide how to sequence instruction! Our assessment decision tree will help you decide what additional assessments might be needed.

Here's What People Are Saying About Our PD!

Informative and Relevant!

K-5 Literacy Coach

The content has been so informative and relevant, and the presenters are engaging and knowledgeable. The facilitators do an amazing job connecting the material to experience, answering questions to clarify information, and creating opportunities for meaningful interactions between participants. The skills and resources I've acquired through participating in this PD have made an invaluable impact on the reading abilities of children in the classrooms I serve.

Learning the WHY

The best thing about this PD is learning the science and the WHY behind everything we were learning. Having the tools and deliverables to immediately implement and do the work with our students has been so helpful. I would absolutely recommend The Literacy Architects' PD to a colleague who wanted to grow in their understanding and practice of teaching kids how to read!

Thanks!

Thanks for giving me a refresher course in PA and giving some great activities that were both reflective and helpful.
